SEO Worth $5 Million? By: Andy Beal 2007-06-19 Dont panic, the bottom didnt just fall out of the search engine optimization industry, its still very much healthy. In fact, as DotSauce is reporting that the domain name SEO.com just sold for $5 million!!! Mike Mann is a prominent internet entrepreneur who sold BuyDomains company a few years ago for more than $65 million. His latest tech venture is just that, a venture capital firm based in Washington D.C. which goes by the name of WashingtonVC.What do you think, worth the price? I know that SEO.com will likely bring immediate brand recognition, but its not going to guarantee theyll be sitting on the top of Googles results (Wikipedia will see to that). ;-) Via SEL Comments View All Articles by Andy Beal About the Author: Andy Beal is an internet marketing consultant and considered one of the world's most respected and interactive search engine marketing experts.
